General Project Description

This informal invitation for bids seeks contractors for roof repairs across four buildings at the Modesto Police Department. The scope of work includes comprehensive roof maintenance such as debris removal, sealing various roof penetrations (drains, overflows, AC units, ventilators), ensuring proper drain function, cleaning and sealing rain gutters, trimming trees interfering with roofs, moss removal, repairing damaged roof areas, replacing sheet metal vent jacks and cap, abandoning existing roof drains, and installing new sheet metal scuppers and downspouts.

Quantity: 1 Unit: JOB Work Item: Roof Repairs for Building #2 (601 11th St, Modesto, CA). Includes removing all debris from the roof, trimming trees away from the roof, sealing all roof penetrations (drains, overflows, AC units, ventilators), and replacing complete sheet metal vent jacks (boiler chimney cap, domestic hot water chimney cap).
Quantity: 1 Unit: JOB Work Item: Roof Repairs for Building #3 (621 11th St, Modesto, CA). Includes removing all debris from the roof, sealing all roof penetrations (drains, overflows, AC units, ventilators), removing moss buildup, and repairing any damaged roof areas discovered during cleaning.
Quantity: 1 Unit: JOB Work Item: Roof Repairs for Building #4 (1021 G St, Modesto, CA). Includes removing all debris from the roof, sealing all roof penetrations, repairing any damaged foam roofing areas, removing and resealing approximately 50 linear feet of sheet metal cap on the west side of the building, abandoning two (2) existing roof drains and properly sealing them, and cutting out brick at two locations on the side of the building to install new sheet metal scuppers and downspouts.
