General Project Description

This project involves the construction of two recharge basins and associated civil site improvements. The scope includes extensive earthwork (mass grading, excavation support systems, over-excavation, scarification, rock removal, subgrade preparation, temporary construction access, temporary stockpiling, material export, clearing, grubbing, stripping), concrete work (access ramps, slabs, cast-in-place concrete), and extensive utility installation (12-inch HDPE pipeline connection, outlet structures, water facilities including pipes, valves, fittings). Electrical and instrumentation improvements are also required, covering level monitoring, security camera systems, conduit and wire, ductbanks, SCADA communication, control panels, solar power equipment, antenna/mast, and modifications at the Winters Road Flow Control Facility. The project also includes fencing, gates, drainage improvements, environmental mitigation (Joshua Tree removal and relocation), and hazardous materials removal if encountered.
