General Project Description
The City of Monterey is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide on-call electrical engineering design services. The scope of work involves general electrical engineering services, including the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, calculations, studies, and other electrical engineering-related work. Projects may encompass upgrades, replacements, and reconfigurations of building electrical systems, lighting, EV charging stations/infrastructure, communications, data network cables, fire alarm systems, emergency power generation systems, battery backup systems, pump stations, solar systems, and microgrids within various municipal facilities. The selected consultant will enter into a Master Agreement, with individual tasks defined and executed through specific task orders, each with an agreed-upon scope, schedule, and fee. The services also include construction support, coordination with utilities, and assistance with permitting and compliance.
