General Project Description

This project involves the rehabilitation of an inclusionary residential unit (condo) in the City of Monterey, funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The comprehensive scope aims to preserve and enhance the quality, safety, and livability of affordable housing by addressing critical repairs and upgrades. Key work items include replacing flooring, cabinetry, appliances, and fixtures; renovating the kitchen and bathroom for improved safety, functionality, and modern usability; and upgrading existing electrical and plumbing systems. The rehabilitation focuses on improving energy efficiency and extending the unit's service life in alignment with the City's goals for promoting equitable, mixed-income communities.
