General Project Description
This OneWater Morro Bay Plan aims to update existing master plans for water supply, water distribution, wastewater collection, and storm drainage systems for the City of Morro Bay. The project includes analysis of current water supplies, identification of system capacity deficiencies, and development of feasible alternatives and infrastructure plans to serve future development through 2040. Key work includes pipeline replacements and additions for water distribution (including fire flow, transmission, and velocity improvements), wastewater gravity main replacements and lift station upgrades, storm drain replacements and additions to mitigate flooding, and other related infrastructure improvements such as desalination plant upgrades and water master plan updates.
