Napa County is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Napa County 555 Gateway Boulevard and Behavioral Health Treatment Center (BHTC) Improvements, identified under Solicitation ID: PW 26 -100. Work is to be performed near 2200 Napa Vallejo Hwy, Napa, CA 94559, USA in Napa County.
General Project Description
This project involves improvements at two Napa County facilities: 555 Gateway Boulevard and the Behavioral Health Treatment Center (BHTC). For BHTC, the work consists of converting a 72-bed staff secure re-entry building into a Health and Human Services facility, including a mental health resource center, sobering, detox, and residential programs. This includes minimal dormitory renovations (modifying power, lighting, and switching), adding a new restroom with showers and a staff station, converting existing storage/exam room/toilet areas for male sobering, adding/modifying doors, reengineering a shear wall, repurposing a sleeping room for female sobering, converting an administration area into a mental health resource center (including converting offices to bedrooms and opening a copy room for living space), modifying toilets and showers, and installing new furnishings and window coverings. Structural modifications such as columns and beams will be added for a new movable partition in the large classroom, and an exterior entry vestibule (fencing and egress hardware) will be added to the MHRC suite. For 555 Gateway Boulevard, the project completes tenant improvements to an existing 2-story building for Probation Child Support Services. The scope includes procurement and installation of new system furniture panels and worksurfaces with power and data connections, ancillary office furniture (chairs, tables), relocation of existing Steelcase and HON sit/stand workstations and file cabinets, and the purchase and installation of equipment lockers, five refrigerators, large wall displays, new card readers, electric strikes, and new CCTV cameras (with cabling). Both projects include security and door access components.
