Napa County is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, SOUTH CAMPUS BUILDING 4 HVAC REPLACEMENT, identified under Solicitation ID: PW 23 -10. Work is to be performed near 2751 Napa Valley Corporate Dr, Napa, CA 94558, USA in Napa County.
General Project Description
This project involves the comprehensive replacement and upgrade of the HVAC system at South Campus Building 4. The scope includes the demolition and disposal of three existing Custom Air Handling Units (AHUs), the hydronic heating water boiler system, and parts of the existing HVAC controls. New custom-built Seasons 4 AHUs (55 TON, 44 TON, and 25 TON), one ACCU-1 Heat Pump (36 MBH), and three new Lochinvar-FBN-1501 condensing boilers with a stainless-steel flue pipe system will be installed. The project also entails installing new hydronic pumps and piping, replacing 45 VAV and reheat controls (including coil control valves and thermostats), and upgrading building and boiler BMS controls with new Siemens BACnet controllers. Electrical upgrades include new conduit, wiring, breakers, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Roof patching will be performed where equipment is removed or modified, and new fire alarm detectors will be connected to the existing fire alarm system. The work requires balancing of air and hydronic water systems and the installation of housekeeping pads and seismic anchors for equipment. Construction is to occur while the building remains operational, requiring coordination for access and adherence to local noise ordinances.
