General Project Description

The project seeks qualified firms to provide hydrologic engineering services to analyze hydrologic models, including supporting DWR staff in developing the California Guidelines for the Truckee River Operating Agreement (TROA). The services involve engineering and model analysis support, such as analyzing RiverWare operations, water accounting, and planning models. It also includes identifying and analyzing Truckee River system optimization scenarios, running ensemble models, providing recommendations for California Guidelines, and analyzing TROA documents for water exchanges and environmental flows. Additionally, the contractor will provide project management services, process development support, meeting facilitation, knowledge transfer, and develop written documentation and training materials for DWR staff. The work will involve coordination with multiple external partners.
