Natural Resources Agency- Department of Water Resources is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Truckee River Operating Agreement Hydrologic Engineering Services, identified under Solicitation ID: 10215989. General Project Description
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks qualified firms to provide hydrologic engineering services to the Department of Water Resources (DWR) in support of the Truckee River Operating Agreement (TROA). The scope involves analyzing hydrologic models, assisting DWR staff in developing the California Guidelines for TROA operations, and providing comprehensive project management support. Key activities include hydrologic model analysis (RiverWare operations, water accounting, planning models), identifying and optimizing Truckee River system scenarios, running ensemble models, developing California Guidelines and routine updates, analyzing TROA documents for water exchanges and environmental flows, advising on California Water Year Planning, and providing extensive knowledge transfer, documentation, and training to DWR staff. Ancillary support includes project planning, scheduling, risk assessments, meeting facilitation, and process development for standard operating procedures.
