General Project Description

The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) seeks qualified firms to submit Statements of Qualification (SOQ) for on-call, as-needed engineering and related services. These services will support the DWR Division of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and its Dam Safety Services Branch (DSS) in the review, inspection, evaluation, analysis, and oversight of structures associated with the State Water Project (SWP) in Northern California, including facilities within FERC Project Nos. 2100 and 2426. The scope includes dam performance surveillance and monitoring, risk-informed decision making, project initiation/planning/permitting, detailed analysis and evaluations (geotechnical, geologic, structural, hydraulic, hydrologic), program development and support, engineering design and review, construction inspections, material testing, and incidental services, with an estimated contract term of three years with options for two one-year amendments. Specific work items, deliverables, schedules, and budgets will be issued via individual task orders.
