General Project Description

The project involves providing comprehensive engineering, maintenance, refurbishment, repair, modification, testing, procurement, and commissioning services for switchgear, motor control centers (MCC), switchboards, and related components throughout various State Water Project (SWP) facilities in California. The scope includes evaluation, assessment, design, manufacturing, integration, replacement of control and protection systems, documentation, disposal of hazardous materials, equipment submittals, factory and site testing, and training services for DWR employees. The work will be assigned via Letters of Authorization (LOA), with costs based on bid rates for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracted work.
