General Project Description
The County of Nevada Office of Emergency Services (OES) is solicitingStatements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Environmental Consulting firms for a Qualified List to provide technical and administrative environmental consulting services for various wildfire mitigation projects. The scope of services includes conducting technical studies and assessments to obtain California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) clearance and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) clearance for projects involving hazardous fuels reduction, roadside vegetation abatement, defensible space, and home hardening across Nevada County. Firms must possess strong technical knowledge of environmental and cultural resources, State, Federal, and local environmental regulations, and experience with grant-funded projects. Deliverables include reports, specifications, plans, geospatial data, and written documentation in general conformance with County standards and State and Federal grant requirements.
