General Project Description

Nevada County is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified engineering firms to establish a Qualified List for on-call engineering design services. These services will support various public works projects, including those identified in the County's Capital Improvement Plan. The scope encompasses a broad range of engineering disciplines such as roadway and bridge design, structural and foundation engineering, geotechnical investigations, materials testing, erosion control, signalized intersection design (including electrical), utility locating and coordination, land surveying, hydrology and hydraulics, right-of-way engineering, environmental documentation and permitting support and studies, and expert witness services. Selected consultants will provide plan review, detailed design services, and constructability review on an as-needed task order basis over an initial three-year period, with potential renewals.
