General Project Description

This project involves the campus-wide fire alarm upgrade at Victoria Elementary School. The scope of work includes furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, and utilities to perform and complete the fire alarm system upgrade. It also requires the contractor to safely manage and coordinate with school operations, implement dust and noise control, and ensure all installations are functional and meet specifications. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements.

General Bid Items

Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Provide a $77,000 allowance for unforeseen conditions, to be used at the discretion of the DISTRICT.
Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Provide a barrier/temporary fence/screens to divide the workspace between the work area and the public.
Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Daily cleaning of trash, paint overspray, dust, debris, paint chips, and construction materials from the work area.
Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Pressure washing of excess paint spills/stains or overspray from all hard surfaces such as finished materials, furniture, concrete walkways, roads, and asphalt areas.
Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Removal or securing of all materials on site within a lockable container or secure area when work is not occurring.
Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Protection of project work sites against adverse weather conditions (rain, high winds) to prevent damage.
Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Refurbishment of any damaged work site elements at the contractor’s own expense if protection fails.
