Norwalk City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, STRIPING IMPROVEMENTS ALONG IMPERIAL HIGHWAY AND NORWALK BOULEVARD (WITHIN CITY LIMITS), identified under Solicitation ID: 26-844. Work is to be performed near 12700 Norwalk Blvd, Norwalk, CA 90650, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
This project involves striping improvements along Imperial Highway and Norwalk Boulevard within the City of Norwalk. The scope includes providing pavement striping, roadway markings, and curb painting services to enhance roadway visibility, promote traffic safety, and ensure compliance with state and local standards. The work encompasses removal and surface preparation of existing striping and pavement markings, installation of reflective pavement markers (RPMs), temporary traffic control, signage, mobilization, staging, site cleanup, and debris removal. All work must conform to Caltrans Standard Specifications, applicable City standards, the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD), and the Standard Plans for Public Works Construction (SPPWC).
