Norwalk City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, ON-CALL TRAFFIC STRIPING, PAVEMENT MARKING, AND CURB PAINTING SERVICES, identified under Solicitation ID: 26-845. Work is to be performed near 12650 Imperial Hwy., Norwalk, CA 90650, USA in Los Angeles County.
General Project Description
The selected Contractor shall provide on-call pavement striping, roadway markings, and curb painting services along all arterials and other City facilities within the City of Norwalk. This work aims to enhance roadway visibility, promote traffic safety, and ensure compliance with state and local standards. The scope includes removal and surface preparation of existing markings, installation of reflective pavement markers (RPMs), temporary traffic control in accordance with CA MUTCD, and site cleanup. All work must conform to Caltrans Standard Specifications, City standards, CA MUTCD, and Greenbook. The contract includes a base term of three years or 750 working days, with up to three optional one-year extensions. Additive items for striping, pavement marking, and/or curb painting may be requested on an as-needed basis.
