General Project Description

Oak Park Unified School District is seeking proposals from qualified providers for high-speed data services at 1Gbps or higher. The project, eligible for E-Rate funding, involves providing data services, retaining/porting existing data circuits, and covering one-time connection/installation fees. Special construction may be required for network facilities, design, engineering, and project management if new fiber installation is necessary. The service will be point-to-point, originating from the Oak Park Unified School District Office at 5801 E. Conifer St., Oak Park, CA 91377, and terminating at the Ventura County Office of Education at 570 Airport Way, Camarillo, CA 93010, requiring a Single Mode Fiber LC connection and all necessary equipment at demarcation points. The contract term is a minimum of three years with two optional one-year extensions.
