General Project Description
The Oakland Unified School District is soliciting qualifications and proposals from experienced firms to provide land surveying services for the sports field lighting replacement project at Skyline High School. The primary objective of the land survey is to conduct site mapping and underground utility locations to support the installation of new field lights. This includes ensuring professional quality and technical accuracy of all deliverables, confirming plans disclose relevant information for potential bidders, and providing mandatory assistance in case of third-party disputes or litigation. The scope is specifically limited to the sports field and bleachers area, the route of field lighting electrical lines to the Building G mechanical/electrical room, and the pedestrian route to accessible parking spaces.

The map shall indicate constructed features and trees as well as boundary and easement information. Provide both CAD and PDF versions to the District upon completion.

- Quantity: - Unit: - Work Item: Information Disclosure and Tracking: Use all due care and diligence to confirm that plans and specifications disclose potentially relevant information impacting a Contractor's cost of performance. Advise District on effective methods of identifying and securing such information. Track suggested and disclosed information.
- Quantity: - Unit: - Work Item: Mandatory Assistance (Dispute/Litigation): Assist in resolving third-party disputes or litigation related to services provided, including professional consultations, attending mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and trials.
