General Project Description

The City of Oakland is soliciting proposals from professional service providers to deliver engineering and technical support to its Watershed and Stormwater Management Division (WSMD). The project involves reviewing and commenting on various permit applications and project plans, including drainage design and construction compliance for public infrastructure (PX) permits, temporary discharge to storm drain system permits, public infrastructure improvements project plans, and creek protection permit applications. The consultant will ensure compliance with City standards, municipal codes, and stormwater permits, perform hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analyses, utilize GIS databases, conduct construction verification, and design pipelines as needed. The contract is for a three-year term with an optional one-year extension on a time-and-materials basis.
