General Project Description
This project involves providing cleanup services for Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA. The primary scope of work includes the removal of debris, floating, and suspended vegetation from the lake. All collected green waste must be transported to the Davis Street Transfer Stations and Resource Recovery Complex located in San Leandro, CA, ensuring that no garbage or debris is left behind in or around the working areas. Services are anticipated to be required once during the Spring season and potentially a second time during the Summer season. Proposals must detail an hourly labor rate for aquatic vegetation/algae/debris removal, inclusive of any machine/equipment run time, and an estimated dump fee. The resulting contract will be for a three-year period.
