General Project Description

The City of Oceanside is soliciting proposals from experienced manufacturing companies to provide roofing materials for a 20-year warranty single ply membrane system for three City-owned buildings. The project specifically calls for the purchase of materials, not installation. The buildings include Fire Station 4 (approximately 6,850 sq. ft.), Joe Balderrama Recreation Center (approximately 11,500 sq. ft. lower roof and 3,950 sq. ft. upper roof), and Libby Lake Resource Center (approximately 6,200 sq. ft. flat roofing sections). Materials required include a KEE roof membrane (minimum 45 mils thick, ASTM D-6754 compliant for Ketone Ethylene Ester systems), an induction weld retrofit system over minimum 1½" high-density coverboard, tapered iso crickets for drainage at Balderrama, and materials meeting UL Class A and wind uplift requirements. Manufacturers must be affiliated with the CMAS Purchasing program.
