General Project Description

This project involves the design-build of the Buccaneer Lift Station to convey wastewater from the La Salina service area to the San Luis Rey Water Reclamation Facility, optimizing treatment capacity and providing future wastewater management flexibility. The scope includes constructing a new lift station building, dry well, wet well, pump room, emergency storage tank, equalization tank, emergency power, stormwater capture elements, a bio buffer greenbelt, a bike path with lighting, and a parking lot. The work encompasses civil site work, grading, concrete pad and structural concrete work, paving, yard piping, building construction (CMU, metal truss roof, composite roof tiles, split-face CMU block wall), HVAC, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and SCADA integration, along with site development, fencing, security systems, and landscaping. Key aspects also include increasing emergency storage volume, designing stormwater detention, shoring for excavations, SDG&E pole relocation, and integrating a Pure Oxygen Odor Control System.
