General Project Description

The project involves the supply and installation of Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) for playground surfacing across various District-wide playground fall zones. This includes supplying EWF for District-managed installation and supplying and installing (blown-in) EWF at specific District sites. All supplied material must comply with IPEMA and ASTM standards, ensuring it is 100% virgin wood fiber, untreated, free from hazardous substances, and meets specified material properties for moisture content, purity, and particle size distribution. The contractor is expected to provide certificates of compliance with all shipments.
