Orange County is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, South Region Groundwater and Liquid Conveyance Systems Maintenance, identified under Solicitation ID: RFP-299-2958401-NA. Work is to be performed near 32250 Avenida La Pata, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675, USA in Orange County.
General Project Description
This Request For Proposal (RFP) is for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services for the South Region Groundwater Extraction System (GES) and various liquid conveyance systems across multiple landfill sites within Orange County, California. The scope includes routine and preventive maintenance, inspection, repair, and reporting for the Prima Deshecha Landfill's GES, reclaimed water, potable water, leachate collection/storage, and landfill gas condensate collection/storage systems. It also covers maintenance, inspection, and repair of groundwater monitoring wells at Prima Deshecha, Coyote Canyon, Forster Canyon, Lane Road, and San Joaquin closed landfill sites. Non-routine repairs, special services, emergency call responses (during and outside normal business hours), and groundwater monitoring well sampling are required. Contractor responsibilities include providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation; keeping work areas clean; off-site disposal of debris and wastes; daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and reporting; and maintaining a spare parts inventory. Project personnel must have relevant experience, and the contractor must comply with extensive safety, regulatory, and permitting requirements.
