General Project Description

The District is soliciting proposals from a highly qualified and professional company to provide property-wide Sound Monitoring and Mitigation Consulting Services. This includes developing and implementing sound monitoring plans for the annual OC Fair and year-round outdoor events, with a focus on venues like the Pacific Amphitheatre, The Hangar, and the Action Sports Arena. The contractor will take sound measurements in surrounding neighborhoods and specific venues, analyze data for compliance with sound covenants, and provide recommendations for adjustments and improvements. Deliverables include daily reports, written sound monitoring policies and procedures, equipment specifications, monitoring locations, team member recommendations, data analysis logs, and acoustic design/modeling. The contract term is from March 9, 2026, to March 8, 2028, with three (3) 1-year options to renew.
