General Project Description

The Orange County Fire Authority is requesting bids for a public works project involving the remodel and upgrade of the bathroom at Fire Station 45. The project encompasses general construction, demolition of existing partitions, plumbing fixtures, accessories, finishes, windows, shower curbs, and counters. New installations include various bathroom fixtures, accessories, finishes, fire extinguishers with recessed cabinets, sanitary napkin/paper towel dispensers, toilet tissue holders, grab bars, mirrors, clothes hooks, drinking fountains, cabinets, spout outlets, and flush mechanisms. The scope also covers comprehensive plumbing, electrical (including recessed downlights and energy-efficient exhaust fans), HVAC system modifications, and architectural finishes such as metal stud walls with gypsum wallboard, insulation, acoustic caulking, tile backer board, tile finishes, and cove tile wall base. The contractor must provide all necessary permits, materials, labor, tools, and supplies.
