Orange County Water District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, MONITORING WELL FVM -1 VAULT REPLACEMENT, identified under Solicitation ID: IFQ-25-001. Work is to be performed near 11400 Warner Ave, Fountain Valley, CA 92708, USA in Orange County.

General Project Description

The project involves furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and forces necessary for mobilization, demolition and removal, excavation and backfill, well casing extension, drain rock placement, concrete and base installation, surveying, and site cleanup. Specifically, this entails the extension of a 4-inch schedule 40 steel well casing and the replacement of a 2-foot x 3-foot vault over Monitoring Well FVM -1, located in Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley, California. This work is required due to a recent 2-foot increase in the adjacent grade.

  • Quantity: 10-foot square  Unit: 6-inch Thick  Work Item: Place reinforced concrete maintenance pad. Specifications: welded wire mesh reinforced; Portland Cement Concrete with minimum 2,500 psi compressive strength per Greenbook Section 201-1; 6x6 4/4 welded wire reinforcement per Greenbook Section 201-2; concrete forms placed per Greenbook Section 303-5.2; reinforcement installed per Greenbook Section 303-1.7; concrete placed per Greenbook Section 303-5.3; concrete finish per Greenbook Section 303-5.5.5.
