General Project Description

The Orange County Water District (OCWD) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to conduct a Multipurpose Center Feasibility Study. This study will evaluate potential locations on the OCWD Fountain Valley campus for a new Multipurpose Center Building intended to support operational readiness, staff training, community engagement, and an enhanced Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS) tour program. The scope includes verifying the total square footage needed, developing cost estimates for the building, exhibits, and interior furnishings, evaluating potential sites and accessibility, reviewing existing infrastructure and utility connections, developing conceptual design options and space requirements, designing conceptual exhibits displaying OCWD's mission, providing preliminary cost estimates for construction, operations, and maintenance, identifying potential grant funding opportunities, and preparing a final report with findings and recommendations.
