Oro Loma Sanitary District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, SEWER COLLECTION SYSTEM PIPELINE REHABILITATION AND REPLACEMENT PROJECT PHASE 9, identified under Solicitation ID: 45-146.09. Work is to be performed near 2655 Grant Ave, San Lorenzo, CA 94580, USA in Alameda County.

General Project Description

This project, Phase 9 of the Sewer Collection System Pipeline Rehabilitation and Replacement, involves extensive civil engineering work. The primary scope includes trenchless installation for replacing 16,014 linear feet of existing 6 and 8-inch vitrified clay pipe (VCP) with new 8-inch High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, and 1,384 linear feet of 8-inch VCP with 10-inch HDPE pipe. It also encompasses manhole re-channelization and the reconnection of all laterals. The project requires ground disturbance, trenching (both trenchless and open-cut methods), traffic control, excavation, dewatering, temporary utility support, removal and disposal of old infrastructure and spoils, new manhole construction and demolition, lateral reconnections, and comprehensive surface restoration including asphalt concrete paving, slurry seal, concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and pavement markings.
