General Project Description

This project involves the rehabilitation of an owner-occupied single-family dwelling located at 1555 Washington Avenue, Oroville, CA, as part of the City of Oroville's Housing Rehabilitation Program. The base bid work includes addressing all items noted in an attached pest report, specifically: siding replacement, exterior window sills and frames repair/replacement, bathroom subfloor and framing floor joist bracing/reinforcing, and roof member fungus repair. Optional add alternate items include full window replacement, updating interior and attic electrical systems (including drywall patch-back), drywall retexturing, and interior painting. All work must conform to current California Residential Codes (Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Green Building Standards, Fire, Energy codes), the 1997 Uniform Housing Code, and incorporate Lead-Safe Work Practices if lead-based paint is present, requiring a Clearance Examination Report.
