Oxnard City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Professional Design and Construction Engineering Services - Water Resource Recovery Facility: Interstage Pump Station, identified under Solicitation ID: RFP 26-44. Work is to be performed near 6001 Perkins Rd, Oxnard, CA 93033, USA in Ventura County.

General Project Description

The City of Oxnard is seeking professional design and construction engineering services for the replacement of the existing Interstage Pump Station (ISPS) at its Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). The scope of work includes comprehensive design services, technical reports, permit applications, project cost estimates, bidding assistance, and engineering support during construction for the new ISPS. This involves project management, data review, permitting coordination, preliminary design, 60% design, 90% design, final design package, bid phase support, and construction phase services. The purpose is to replace the obsolete 1975 ISPS with a new facility to convey primary clarifier effluent to the Activated Sludge Tanks, optimizing plant efficiency and accommodating modified flow configurations.

Deliverables include separate editable MS Word documents for specs, three (3) copies of 22" x 34" plans, and electronic copies (PDF and native files).
  • Quantity: 1  Unit: Lump Sum  Work Item: 90% Design Documents: Advance design to 90% completion, update drawings and specifications from 60% design review incorporating comments; includes demolition plans/details, civil plans/site layout, structural drawings/details, mechanical drawings/piping layouts, electrical drawings (equipment/instrumentation), instrumentation and control system drawings, complete technical specifications, updated project cost estimate. Deliverables include separate editable MS Word documents for specs, three (3) hard copies of 22" x 34" plans, and a detailed project cost estimate.
  • Quantity: 1  Unit: Lump Sum  Work Item: Final Design Documents: Complete final design by incorporating all comments from 90% design submittal; produce final engineering drawings, final technical specifications, and front-end specifications; prepare a Class 2 estimate of probable construction cost for 100% design submittal. Deliverables include final drawings signed and sealed by a California-licensed professional civil engineer, three (3) sets of 11" x 17" drawings, three (3) sets of 22" x 34" (D Size) drawings, four (4) sets of final specifications, one (1) complete electronic copy of final bid set (PDF), final specifications (editable MS Word and PDF), updated cost estimate, and AutoCAD .dwg files.
