• Quantity: 1  Unit: Lump Sum  Work Item: 60% Design Documents: Develop 60% design documents based on approved BOD and PDR recommendations; includes title sheet, location maps, table of contents, drawing index, standard details, demolition plans/details, civil plans/site layout, landscaping, restoration, civil standard details, structural plans/sections, concrete repair/rehabilitation details, reinforcing details, process flow diagrams, pipe and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), mechanical design (equipment layout/piping plans/elevations), electrical design (loading analysis/demand calculations, equipment layout, single-line diagrams), technical specifications, and preliminary cost estimate. Deliverables include separate editable MS Word documents for specs, three (3) copies of 22" x 34" plans, and electronic copies (PDF and native files).
• Quantity: 1  Unit: Lump Sum  Work Item: 90% Design Documents: Advance design to 90% completion, update drawings and specifications from 60% design review incorporating comments; includes demolition plans/details, civil plans/site layout, structural drawings/details, mechanical drawings/piping layouts, electrical drawings (equipment/instrumentation), instrumentation and control system drawings, complete technical specifications, updated project cost estimate. Deliverables include separate editable MS Word documents for specs, three (3) hard copies of 22" x 34" plans, and a detailed project cost estimate.
• Quantity: 1  Unit: Lump Sum  Work Item: Final Design Documents: Complete final design by incorporating all comments from 90% design submittal; produce final engineering drawings, final technical specifications, and front-end specifications; prepare a Class 2 estimate of probable construction cost for 100% design submittal. Deliverables include final drawings signed and sealed by a California-licensed professional civil engineer, three (3) sets of 11" x 17" drawings, three (3) sets of 22" x 34" (D Size) drawings, four (4) sets of final specifications, one (1) complete electronic copy of final bid set (PDF), final specifications (editable MS Word and PDF), updated cost estimate, and AutoCAD .dwg files.
• Quantity: 1  Unit: Lump Sum  Work Item: Bid Phase Services: Provide support during bidding and award phase; includes response to Bidder Inquiries (RFIs) and Requests for Clarification (RFCs) within two business days; attendance and active participation in mandatory pre-bid meeting; preparation of conformed contract documents after bid period close.
• Quantity: 1  Unit: Lump Sum  Work Item: Construction Phase Services: Provide engineering services during construction (ESDC); includes attendance at Pre-construction Meeting and monthly Project Progress Meetings, review and response to Contractor RFIs (budget for up to 100 RFIs), review of shop drawings and material submittals (budget for up to 50 submittals), review and evaluation of change order requests, preparation of system Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manual, project closeout activities (punch lists, final documentation review), and preparation of record drawings based on contractor red-line markups.
• Quantity: 1  Unit: Lump Sum  Work Item: Unaccounted Project Scope Services: Address issues not originally known or anticipated during the course of work, authorized separately through a project change order. Budget for this task shall be 15% of the total fee for Tasks 1 through 9.
