General Project Description
The City of Oxnard is seeking consultants to provide on-call construction management and inspection services to support its Capital Projects Management team for various Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects. The scope includes comprehensive project management (coordination, meetings, reporting, scheduling, cost control), construction administration (Resident Engineer services, contract management, communications, quality assurance/control, substitution review, resource loading, submittal review, safety/security monitoring, environmental monitoring, payment review, contract extensions, coordination, document control, cost estimating, change order/claims management), detailed inspection services (civil, field, soil, materials testing, data review, reporting), and construction closeout tasks (final walk-throughs, punch lists, record drawings, permitting, final reporting, documentation turnover, warranty coordination, demobilization). The services will be provided on an as-needed basis through task orders, with consultants responsible for cost-effective methods and coordination with City staff, contractors, and the public. Additional services include providing traffic control, crew rental, and street/sidewalk maintenance construction, including heavy equipment operation.
