Oxnard City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Grid Pruning Services, identified under Solicitation ID: 26-38. Work is to be performed near 300 W 3rd St, Oxnard, CA 93030, USA in Ventura County.
General Project Description
The City of Oxnard Public Works Department is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive grid pruning services. This includes furnishing all necessary labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and appurtenant work for tree pruning within pre-designed areas, grids, or neighborhoods throughout the city. Work must comply with good arboriculture practices and International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Standards and Best Management Practices, including ANSI A300 and ANSI 2133 safety requirements. Pruning includes structural pruning, crown raising, and slight crown cleaning, with the exception of Eucalyptus globulus trees. The contractor is responsible for submitting traffic control plans for approval and obtaining encroachment permits, public notification (door hangers 48 hours prior to work), daily site clean-up, and the reduction, reuse, recycling, and/or transformation of all tree branches and wood waste, providing monthly greenwaste recycling reports. All work performed on trees must be recorded in a digital format compatible with the City's GIS tree database, including GPS coordinates for new or uninventoried trees.
