Oxnard City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, EV Charging Expansion, identified under Solicitation ID: 25-05. Work is to be performed near 300 W 3rd St, Oxnard, CA 93030, USA in Ventura County.

General Project Description

The City of Oxnard is seeking an experienced and qualified vendor to enter into a Franchise Agreement (with an initial term of up to 10 years and two 5-year extensions) to exclusively design, install, own, operate, and maintain electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) across a minimum of 10 public municipal facilities and 5 City fleet destinations. The project aims to expand public and fleet EV charging infrastructure at no cost to the City, supporting its sustainability goals and a 40% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. The vendor will be responsible for all planning, engineering, construction, permitting, utility upgrades, and ongoing operations and maintenance. Key requirements include using open standards, providing user-friendly payment methods and mobile applications, ensuring high uptimes (>97%), providing detailed activity reports, and complying with all applicable building, electrical, and safety codes, as well as prevailing wage laws.

General Bid Items
