General Project Description

The City of Palmdale is seeking competitive proposals from experienced and qualified contractors to provide comprehensive exterior painting services for multiple buildings at DryTown Water Park, Palmdale Oasis Park Pool Building, and Palmdale Oasis Park Recreation Center. The scope of work includes all necessary surface preparation, priming, and painting of exterior surfaces, encompassing various materials such as wood, metal, plaster, and stucco, adhering to existing color schemes. The project aims to restore and preserve the appearance and integrity of the listed facilities through high-quality workmanship consistent with industry standards. The City will supply paint and primer, procured through Dunn-Edwards. Contractors are responsible for providing all labor, tools, equipment, preparation and masking materials, consumables, supervision, and required insurance/bonds. An optional bid item for priming and painting metal roof surfaces is also specified. Required inspections must be coordinated with the City at critical stages of the painting process.
