General Project Description

The City of Palo Alto is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for wetland mitigation monitoring and reporting associated with the City of Palo Alto Golf Course Reconfiguration Project (now Baylands Golf Links). The scope of work includes conducting monitoring of expanded and enhanced wetlands for a period of five years, or until regulatory success criteria are met, and preparing annual reports for submission to the City and the Regional Water Quality Control Board. Key tasks involve project initiation and review meetings, biological monitoring of native and invasive wetland species, natural recruitment monitoring, hydrologic monitoring of ponding, Paspalum distribution assessment, photo documentation, data analysis, and detailed annual reporting. Additional services may include implementation of remedial actions such as invasive species removal, native plant seeding/planting, or hydrologic modifications.
