General Project Description

The City of Palo Alto Public Works Department is soliciting bids for an "as-needed" material purchase contract for Portland Cement Concrete (PCC). This 3-year agreement, effective from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029, will provide materials for various construction activities performed by City crews, with a total value not to exceed $255,000. The PCC must conform to CalTrans Standard Specifications, requiring ½ inch maximum combined aggregate grading, six sacks of Portland Cement per cubic yard, 4 inches maximum slump, and 3,500 psi minimum compressive strength at 28 days. The contract also includes the supply of additives like Lamp Black and Accelerator Admixture.
