General Project Description

The Palo Verde Community College District is seeking proposals from qualified design-build firms to develop an Energy Master Plan (EMP), implement, and monitor a comprehensive infrastructure renewal and resiliency program. The project aims to achieve long-term cost savings through reduced energy, gas, and water usage, upgrade antiquated and inefficient equipment, provide a comfortable and safe learning environment, maintain building functionality, improve utilization of technology, minimize financial and technical risk, and include training for employees on equipment maintenance and controls. The scope includes assessing facilities, proposing and implementing conservation measures, solar, battery storage, HVAC optimization, interior/exterior lighting upgrades, Building Automation Systems, EV charging infrastructure, water conservation, irrigation system improvements, and building envelope upgrades.
