General Project Description

The City of Pasadena is seeking a qualified vendor to provide ongoing support services for its Reverse Osmosis (RO), degasification, and ion exchange water treatment systems at the Glenarm Power Plant. This plant demineralizes and deionizes approximately 8 million gallons of water annually for electric power production. The contract encompasses regularly scheduled service, inspection, monitoring, and maintenance for the water conditioning systems. Key services include bi-monthly preventative service visits, addressing maintenance and emergency calls, supplying RO pre-treatment chemicals (liquid bisulfite, coagulant, antiscalant), powdered resin (Ecodex P-202H, Ecodex P-22H), and various cartridge filters. Additionally, services include off-site cleaning and regeneration of RO membranes and the LiquiCel degasification system membrane, along with providing technical assistance and expertise in water purification technologies.
