General Project Description
The City of Pasadena Water and Power Department is seeking professional services to provide "Turn-Key" hazardous and non-hazardous regulated waste management and emergency response services on an as-needed basis. This includes all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, and documentation necessary for sampling, characterizing, packaging, profiling, manifesting, labeling, loading, and/or transporting wastes to permitted Treatment, Storage, and Disposal facilities (TSDFs), in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The project also covers 24-hour emergency response for hazardous material spills, small-scale site remediation, and cleanup of electrical vaults and hazardous material sites in City properties and public right-of-way. The contractor must provide an online manifest tracking application and maintain proper personnel training, equipment, and materials for comprehensive waste management operations.
