General Project Description
This project involves the modernization of Glen Speck Elementary School, including general construction, labor, materials, equipment, and services in strict accordance with contract documents, drawings, and specifications. The project prioritizes three main areas: (a) MRP Kitchen Modernization, encompassing associated utilities and north hardscape areas at the Grease interceptor location, to be completed by August 13, 2026; (b) the installation of a Portable Restroom for the Playground Area; and (c) the construction of a Lunch Area Shade Structure and expanded Hardcourt/Asphalt area with grass field remediation. The scope includes general building construction, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work, site improvements, and implementation of safety measures. All work must comply with applicable local, state, and federal codes and regulations, including those concerning hazardous materials, lead paint, and storm water management.
