General Project Description
The City of Petaluma Department of Public Works is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified consulting firms to provide professional engineering services for Phase 2 of the Adobe Road Recycled Water Expansion Project. Phase 2 will extend the recycled water pipeline east from the Phase 1 termination point along Adobe Road, connecting to an existing recycled water pipeline near Tunzi Lane. The proposed alignment is anticipated to cross one or more creeks, which will likely require evaluation and design of trenchless pipeline installation methods. The project is partially funded by the Title XVI Water Reclamation and Reuse Program, requiring compliance with federal requirements. The scope of services includes topographic survey, geotechnical investigation and recommendations, utility and Right-of-Way (ROW) engineering and land assessment, preparation of comprehensive pipeline design documents (including Basis of Design report, construction documents, cost estimates, and technical specifications), federal design and grant coordination, and environmental compliance coordination.
