General Project Description

The City of Petaluma is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from Design-Build Entities (DBEs) for comprehensive design and construction services for the new Petaluma Public Safety Facility. This project involves consolidating Police, Fire, and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) functions into a single facility designed for 24/7 operations and long-term resiliency. The scope includes a new Police Department headquarters, a new Fire Department headquarters and station with apparatus bays, an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) with technology and communications infrastructure, administrative offices, training, and support spaces. Site development includes on-site circulation, staff and public parking, secured parking areas, emergency vehicle access, utility applications, connections, extensions, and upgrades (water, sewer, storm drainage, electrical, and communications), stormwater management facilities, site security features (perimeter fencing, controlled access points, lighting), landscaping, irrigation, open space elements, and off-site access roadways and intersection improvements, including work in the public right of way.
