General Project Description

This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks professional engineering services for construction management, project inspection, and materials testing for the HSIP Cycle 12 – High Friction Surface Treatment Project. The project involves applying High Friction Surface Treatment (HFST) on 15 selected curves in western Placer County, identified based on accident history, and is funded by the High Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). The underlying construction scope includes HFST placement, crack sealing, roadway grinding, overlaying, and striping. The selected consultant will provide a Construction Manager and sufficient staff to perform construction administration oversight and inspection services in accordance with County and Caltrans standards for this federally-funded project.
