General Project Description

The City of Pleasanton is seeking professional engineering design services from qualified firms to update its comprehensive ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan (2002) and its City Sidewalk and Ramp Assessment Survey and Report (2009). The project aims to revise the City's ADA Self-Evaluation and Inventory Report against current ADA standards for City programs, facilities, parks, parking lots, streets, intersections, and sidewalks. The selected consultant will perform field investigations, evaluate City policies and programs, prepare an ADA Transition Plan to identify accessibility obstacles, describe methods for improvement, and specify a compliance schedule. The project includes tasks such as policy research, compliance evaluation, sidewalk and ramp assessment, and development of an updated Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan report.
