General Project Description

The City of Pleasanton is seeking proposals for a turnkey delivery of an Advanced Water Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solution. This project involves the supply and installation of approximately 22,450 non-mechanical water meters and radio transmitters across the City's water service territory. The successful contractor will also provide AMI network data collection equipment, headend software, meter data analytics software, related training services, and ongoing maintenance and support for up to 20 years. Key services include project management, field supervision, water meter and radio transmitter installations, data collection equipment installation, customer service, public outreach, and data/quality management. The project is divided into Start-Up, Proof-of-Concept, and Production Phases, with a substantial performance date of October 31, 2027.
