General Project Description
The City of Pleasanton is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for comprehensive inspection, testing, maintenance, monitoring, and repair services for its fire alarm systems across 31 municipal buildings citywide. Services must comply with NFPA 72 and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The scope includes 24/7 monitoring, quarterly and annual inspections, scheduled maintenance, and emergency repairs. The project also entails system upgrades, replacement of defective components at specific facilities (Operations Service Center, Pleasanton Library, Police Department), and ensuring all systems remain in proper working condition, code-compliant, and thoroughly documented. The contract will be for an initial three-year term, with an option to extend for up to two additional one-year terms, for a total potential term of not more than five years.
