General Project Description

The City of Pomona is soliciting bids for the Sewer Manhole Rehabilitation project (FD538 - CC2565). The scope involves furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals for various manhole rehabilitation tasks. This includes mobilization, demobilization, and securing permits, typical 4-ft diameter manhole rehabilitation in roadways and easements using Calcium Aluminate or Polyurethane materials, active leak control, manhole frame and cover replacement, installation of polymer concrete rehabilitation inserts (including removal of non-standard beams for specific manholes), temporary sewer bypass pumping, contaminated soil removal (with testing and handling), and 7-day continuous sewer flow monitoring at manholes. The project also requires pavement restoration according to City standards and associated traffic control. All base bid work is to be completed within 85 consecutive working days, and additive alternate work within 25 consecutive working days, with overall project completion required before September 30, 2026.
