General Project Description

The City of Port Hueneme and the Port Hueneme Water Agency (PHWA) are soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to prepare their respective 2025 Urban Water Management Plans (UWMPs) and associated Water Shortage Contingency Plans. This project aims to ensure compliance with state regulations, provide updated and reliable assessments of water demand and supply, identify strategies for conservation, drought response, and long-term sustainability. The selected consultant will provide technical expertise, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the development of both UWMPs and contingency plans, reflecting PHWA's role as a wholesale water supplier and the City's role as a retail distributor.
