General Project Description
The City of Poway is seeking proposals for the expansion and installation of a video surveillance system at the City Hall campus and Fire Station One. The project includes procuring and installing forty-four (44) new IP surveillance cameras, associated wiring, conduit, and application licensing. Vendors are required to provide comprehensive project management and technical consulting services to install, configure, and integrate the new cameras into the City's existing security platform. The work involves adhering to detailed technical specifications for camera hardware (e.g., IP66, IK09, motion detection, infrared illumination, PTZ, PoE, 4MP+ resolution) and cabling requirements (e.g., Category 6A UTP/shielded, CMR/CMP/CMX rated, proper termination, installation in Schedule 40 PVC conduit for underground runs or messenger-supported for aerial runs, NEMA 4X/IP66/IP68 enclosures for outdoor connections). The City will provide network and server hardware.
